Arrive Hanoi at Noi Bai Airport and welcome by our guide. Walk in the Old Quarter called “the 36 Streets" (Vietnamese: Hà Nội 36 phố phường), then visit the Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple. Transfer to your hotel. (Check-in from 14:00). Then free time to discover Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
After breakfast, early departure to visit Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, one of the ancient capitals of Vietnam in the 10th century. Visit the temple of King Dinh and Le. Take a boat trip for an excursion to the Halong Bay area and visit the ancient site of Tam Coc - Bich Dong. Succeeding then to the emerald green water of Halong Bay, it will be the green rice fields. (Possibility to rent a bicycle to discover the surroundings yourself). Overnight in Ninh Binh.
After breakfast, departure (without a guide) to Halong, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. Ha Long Bay is a maritime labyrinth made up of nearly 3000 islands or islets in the form of sugar loaves. These rock formations are not unique to Vietnam. But no place has the size of Ha Long. First by the number of islands, then, and above all, because of the visibility - there is always a little foggy which gives a feeling of mystery and infinity. Boarding for a cruise of 2 days / 1 night in this famous bay, with a thousand rocky islets. After lunch, visit some islands and exceptional caves. Dinner and overnight on board. (Note: overnight on board depending on weather conditions)
In the morning, continue to discover Halong Bay. After brunch, disembark and return to Hanoi. Then transfer to Hanoi train station for the night train to Dong Hoi. (4 berths / cabin). Offers a sleeping bag for each person. Overnight on train.
Arrival at Dong Hoi Train Station. Welcome by our guide and have breakfast. Boarding a small boat to visit the Phong Nha cave, which is also the largest and most beautiful in Vietnam, classified as World Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2003. Then transfer to the hotel in Dong Hoi City. Overnight in Dong Hoi.
Breakfast at your hotel. On the way to Hue. Stop on the way to visit Vinh Moc underground tunnel. Arrive at Hue. Cruise on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Overnight in Hue.
After breakfast, visit the Imperial Citadel, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City. Then visit the Mausoleum of Emperor Minh Mang. Then on the way to Hoi An passing by the Pass of the Clouds. Stop in Danang, visit the village of marble sculptures and the Cham museum. Overnight in Hoi An.
Breakfast at hotel. Then on the way to My Son, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is an ensemble of Hindu temples built at the end of the 4th century until the 13th century. But these are not normal temples, they are the remains of the Champa kingdom, a vanished civilization. Return to Hoi an. Discovering ancient town, Hoi An is an open-air museum, a real jewel of architecture. Walking tour of the center where you will discover old Chinese wooden houses including the Phuc Kien Pagoda, the communal house of the Fujian Chinese congregation.
Visit the Japanese Bridge, famously covered bridge, the very lively and colorful market and Phuc Kien Hall, the largest Chinese temple in Hoi An, it served as both a dwelling house and business. Overnight in Hoi An.
Breakfast at your hotel. Transfer to the airport for flight to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon, welcome by our guide. Then transfer to the hotel. Free day to discover the city: Temple of the Jade Emperor, Post Central Station, Notre Dame Cathedral, Cholon District, Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Taoist Temple. Overnight in Saigon.
After breakfast, go straight to Cai Be. Boat trip to visit Cai Be Floating Market. Visit the craft houses and factories of rice papers and coconut candies. Visit Binh Hoa Phuoc Island. Back to the hotel in Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.
Breakfast at your hotel. Last tour of the city to enjoy last minute shopping. Then transfer (without guide) to Saigon airport for your return to your home.
