Arrival at Hanoi airport, capital of Vietnam, bordering by the Red River. Welcome, discovery and stroll in the heart of Hanoi, with its beautiful historical monuments such as the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum on Ba Dinh Square, the house on stilts, the Temple of Literature, the One Pillar Pagoda and The National Museum of Vietnamese History. In the afternoon, visit the Ethnology Museum (closed on Mondays). Then ride through the old district of Hanoi and around Hoan Kiem Lake. In the evening, (extra optional) to attend a Water puppetry show. A popular and typical Vietnamese art that describes the customs and traditions of the rural daily Vietnamese of the old decades. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Departure to Thanh Hoa. Visit Dong Son heritage, to an hour away. Located in the Ma River Basin, northeast of Thanh Hoa province, the Dong Son site includes all the features of a traditional village in the Vietnamese countryside: communal houses, pagodas and temples, hills, mountains, crops, caves, rivers and, of course, rice paddies. Visit the famous Citadel of the Ho Dynasty, an ancient imperial fortress built entirely of stone, erected in Vietnam more than 600 years ago. Night at the hotel.
Breakfast. Departure to Ninh Binh. Visit Tam Coc famous natural caves, "Halong Bay on land", a stroll in a haven along the limestone rocks at the edge of the rice fields, a wonderful landscape, where scenes from "Indochina" movie. Continuation of the walk and visit the pagoda of Bich Dong and the ancient capital Hoa Lu where the temples of Dinh and Le Dynasties.
Breakfast. In the morning, departure to Halong. On arrival, boarding of a junk (around 5 o'clock) from the Halong Bay Jetty (8th World Wonder, UNESCO World Heritage) for a unique cruise away from ordinary routes. During this trip, discover the cave Sung Sot, nicknamed the cave of surprise and considered as one of the most beautiful of Halong Bay. Then you will explore Dinh Huong Islands, Ga Choi, Con Cho, Canh Buom. Lunch on board. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Free time until transfer to Hanoi. Stop on the way to visit But Thap Pagoda. Transfer to the airport for the evening flight to Hue.
Arrival in Hue, welcome by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Night at the hotel.
Breakfast. Take a boat trip on the Perfume River to reach the Thien Mu pagoda (the Heavenly Lady), one of the most ancient and most visited sites in Hue. Visit the imperial tomb of King Tu Duc (1848-1883). A quick tour to the village of the sticks of incense before returning to the hotel. Visit the ancient imperial city, the citadel of Hue, the entrance is through the door of the South (Ngọ Môn). Then stroll through the royal city, crossing the small bridge of the Heavenly voices to finish on the magnificent Palace of Supreme Peace. Late afternoon, visit the famous Dong Ba market - it's not only famous for its conical hats, but also for basketry, fabrics, fruits, and sweets. Night at the hotel.
Breakfast. Departure to the sanctuary of My Son. It is considered one of the most important Hindu temples in Southeast Asia and the most majestic in Vietnam. Then departure to discover the old neighborhoods, Hoi An is an open-air museum, a real jewel of architecture. Walking tour of the center where you will discover old Chinese wooden houses including the Phuc Kien Pagoda, the communal house of the Fujian Chinese congregation. Visit the Japanese Bridge, famously covered bridge, the very lively and colorful market and Phuc Kien Hall, the largest Chinese temple in Hoi An, it served as both a dwelling house and business. Night at the hotel.
Breakfast. Free time for your discovery Hoi An or formerly Faifo, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a perfect example of Vietnamese classical architecture with its covered bridge, wooden houses... Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast. Transfer to Danang Airport for the flight to Buon Me Thuot. Arrival in Buon Me Thuot, welcome by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Visit the city church Buon Ma Thuot. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit the Daklak Ethnographic Museum: 3 spaces with a beautiful exhibition of traditional natural dyed costumes, agricultural tools, musical instruments and especially tools used to capture and domesticate wild elephants; biodiversity and local history. Go to Lak Lake, visit the villages of the M'Nong ethnic group with a canoe trip on the natural lake, ride the elephant in the village and in the lake. Back in town. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, visit the Dray Sap Falls located on a tributary of the Mekong River Serepok. Dray Sap means "the cascade of mists" whose persistent mist of water smoothed the impressive waterfall that can be heard in the distance. Then transfer to Buon Ma Thuot airport for the afternoon flight to Saigon. Arrival in Saigon, welcome by our guide and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, departure by car to Cai Be: the floating market with a thousand flavors and one of the most beautiful water towns of the Mekong Delta. Boarding for a cruise on the Mekong River to observe the daily life of Mekong residents. Visit the floating market of Cai Be, the ultimate meeting point for traders from all over the region. Afterward, you can visit village craftsmen's houses and a craft factory of rice and coconut products: sweetened with coconut milk. Unique and authentic lunch with the locals amongst orchards. Enjoy a traditional music show then return to Vinh Long to drive back to Saigon. Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, you will discover Saigon, starting with Cholon's old Chinatown and the Thien Hau Taoist temple and a lacquer ware factory, where lacquer ware and mother-of-pearl (nacre) are on display, an ancestral tradition in Vietnam. In the afternoon visit: Notre Dame Cathedral (exterior), Central Post Office, Municipal Theater, Ben Thanh Market. Transfer to the airport for the return flight. End of service.
